Using the service

Sound Trimmer provides a free tool for selecting, previewing and exporting audio clips. Use the service lawfully and only with recordings you own or have permission to edit. You are responsible for the rights needed to share or publish exported audio.

Your files

The editor processes audio locally and creates a new download. It does not change the original file on your device. Keep your original recording and review the exported clip before deleting other copies or relying on the output.

Limitations

The service is provided as available, without a promise that every file or device will work. Browser codec support, memory, sample-rate conversion and compression can affect the output. MP3 encoding can add padding and is lossy. This editor is not a professional mastering service and does not verify copyright permissions or guarantee a particular result.

Responsible use

Do not attempt to interfere with the service, bypass published limits or use it for unlawful activity. Do not submit sensitive audio to the support inbox. Features and limits may change as the service develops.
